Palawan

Next stop was the beautiful Palawan. We flew into Puerto Princesa, stayed one night and spent 6 hours in a mini bus to El Nido. We stopped half way and met some friendly kitties.

We stayed at Nacpan beach in El Nido, out of the way of the city it was lovely! Our first day we went on an island hopping tour and kayaked around the Big Lagoon, saw the Hidden Beach and snorkelled around Secret Lagoon. It was an amazing day, tour guides were great, everyone on our 2 boats were good fun and the food was amazing!

The next few days were chill out on the beach days, it was great and what we really wanted to do here. One night we stayed to watch the beautiful sunset.

Then we got the fast ferry to Coron and spent a few nights in the town centre. We went on a boat trip out to the ‘highlights’ of Coron and saw Barracuda lake, Twin Lagoon, Banol beach (lunch stop), Kayangan Lake, Skeleton Wreck and Siete Pecados. It was a really good day!

Our next day we decided to hire mopeds and explore the main land. Unfortunately the weather turned and we got caught in the rain! We made it to Conception Falls about an hour from Coron town, had some lunch near by and made our way back. It was so fun on the scooters once you got away from the busy town!

In the evening we went to the hot springs, it was amazing!

On our last day in Coron we went on a final boat trip, this was out to see Banana Island, Malcapuya Beach and Bulog Dos Island. It was a much slower paced tour and we had lots of time to relax on the beaches which was lovely!

Palawan was beautiful but now it’s time for the next flight and group of buses onto the next stop!
